Airelles - Chateau de Versailles

King & Viking: an exceptional dinner by Alain Ducasse and Eric Vildgaard

On June 10 and 11, 2025, Le Grand Contrôle invites you to the Château de Versailles for an exclusive dinner between Chef Alain Ducasse and Eric Vildgaard, the Danish chef behind the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Jordnær in Copenhagen.

Nordic refinement by Eric Vildgaard

Trained in renowned establishments including Noma in Copenhagen, Eric Vildgaard founded Jordnær in 2017 with his wife Tina. In just a few years, their restaurant has risen to the top of the global culinary scene, earning three Michelin stars. His refined cuisine, focused on seafood and Nordic flavors, stands out for its precision and emotional depth.

Two chefs, one exceptional menu

Experience a remarkable menu born from the meeting of two exceptional culinary worlds: Alain Ducasse, a symbol of French gastronomy and the most Michelin-starred chef in the world, and Eric Vildgaard, a leading figure of the new Nordic cuisine. Together, they craft a menu where the elegance of French tradition meets the boldness of Scandinavian innovation. A true invitation to travel, served in the sumptuous setting of the Alain Ducasse restaurant at the Château de Versailles.

With special thanks to Kaviari.
