Designed and realised by architect and interior designer Christophe Tollemer, the interior of the hotel perfectly combines simple, natural materials with colourful textiles.
The walls, beams and ceilings are largely fashioned from local materials and sculpted by local artisans, with the vaulted windows and large rooms letting in plenty of natural mountain light. Around the hotel, adozens of carefully-curated objects were selected by art historian Emanuelle Vidal-Delagneau to add to the atmosphere.
Exceptional service is one of the priorities at all Airelles properties, and the hotel has a dedicated team. The 41 rooms and suites are individually decorated, elegant and uncluttered.
The hotel also has five private apartments, each with its own butler. With one to four bedrooms, each apartment is named after a famous castle in the region – Chantemerle, D’Epierre, Bellecombe and Montfleury.
From the moment of their arrival, guests will experience the ‘welcome ritual’ especially created for Airelles Val d’Isère. They are invited to choose their favourite from one of four perfumes from the Eaux de Rituel Guerlain collection, and their room will be perfumed with it throughout their stay.
