The magic of dinner under a starry sky
During the day, you’ll have the pleasure of lunch in the open air, letting your gaze wander over the valley and the hills, the olive groves surrounded by dry stone walls.
In the evening, the heat becomes more gentle as the countryside turns red and orange, revealing its authentic Provençal beauty, captured artists for centuries. L’Orangerie restaurant is the perfect place for the most romantic dinner. You’ll enjoy a marvellous meal surrounded by nature, beneath the starry Luberon sky, overlooking some of the most beautiful scenery in France.
A refined cuisine inspired by Provençal produce
Chef Yohan Fatela has put Provençal cuisine at the heart of the Gordes’ L’Orangerie menu, creating dishes with great finesse from local products. Flavours and surprising textures combine to make carefully selected ingredients even more sublime.
Desserts are created by Chef pâtissier and chocolate expert Baptiste Depoorter. Gourmets will lean towards his Chocolate & Pear Several Ways, while those looking for something lighter will love his sorbets and homemade ice creams.
L’Orangerie restaurant, quintessentially Luberon
For those who would rather enjoy lunch or dinner inside, the interior is no less spectacular. The vaulted dining room evokes Luberon feasts of yesteryear: padded banquettes, wood carvings, large mirrors, period paintings and immaculate table cloths are the foundations for the décor of this surprising restaurant.
The quality of the materials harks back to the golden age of Provençal craftwork, traditional Indian fabrics, earthenware and ceramics add to the richness of the region. It’s a warm, elegant venue, ideal for friendly lunches and lavish dinners, when the temperature outside is cooler.
