Known affectionately as "Nobu" or "Nobu San," the illustrious Chef reinvents the codes of Japanese gastronomy by incorporating the exotic flavours of Peru. After a decade of travels between Peru and Argentina, Nobu finally settled in LA where his first restaurant, Matsuhisa, opened in Beverly Hills, in 1987.
His unique approach draws immediate accolades, making Matsuhisa the secret haven for Hollywood's biggest stars. Today, with more than 50 restaurants worldwide, the Chef continues to share his passion for Japanese culinary art while maintaining the family philosphy that makes his culinary destinations so special.

The new Matsuhisa Restaurant unveils a decoration inspired by Japanese culture, combining sobriety, geometry, and simplicity. Japan Comes to Val d’Isère
The Matsuhisa menu offers a cuisine that combines traditional Japanese gastronomy with techniques and spices from Peru. Explore the Chef's Signature dishes, including Yellowtail Jalapeno, Salmon Karashi su Miso, Matsuhisa Sashimi Salad, and, of course, the iconic Black Cod Miso.
The Omakase menu, served at the Airelles Val d’Isère table, is the perfect introduction to the Matsuhisa concept. Comprising eight courses, it features two starters, a sushi assortment, a salad, two hot dishes (fish and meat), a soup, and a dessert.
