Take to the road to explore the beauty of Val d’Isère from a new perspective, by snowmobile! Whether you’d like to drive or go as a passenger, there’s only one rule, have fun!
A snowmobile ride, something for everyone
You’ll start in the protected Tomeuse ski area at an altitude of around 2300 metres. At the foot of the chairlift, your guide will give you a quick briefing. Here, on the snowy Pas de la Tovière slopes, between Mont Blanc, Face de Bellevarde and Dôme de la Sache, the beautiful landscape of Val d’Isère is spread out before you.
You don’t have to be a licensed driver to enjoy the ride! All you have to be is aged 18 or over. Your professional guide will teach you the basic skills needed, and then let you have a go in complete safety. You can always switch to being a passenger during the ride if you prefer, and experience the activity in a different way.
A snowmobile ride with a view of Mont Blanc
Put your gloves and helmet on, it’s time for a 30-minutes ride surrounded by some of the most beautiful French alpine peaks! To make the most of this experience, everyone who wants to drive has their own snowmobile, either alone or with a passenger behind them.
During the ride, there will be a stop at a location known to insiders, offering a spectacular view of Mont Blanc. A ‘snow bar’ can be arranged on request, so that you can enjoy a drink or a snack face to face with Europe’s highest summit. It’s an experience which you’ll never forget!
